It’s the first thing many of us think of when we consider the trajectory for a successful musical. But as with so many things, Saving Cinderella takes a unique approach. Our mission is to use musical theatre to highlight the role of relationships in the fight against poverty. We want to see Saving Cinderella in schools, community theatres, regional theatres, and of course, we’d love to be on Broadway! We will pursue every avenue that will help our message reach more and more hearts and minds.
We enjoy a vision of the world where (as our Finale “How Do You Save The World” says)…
Each one helps someone
And each heart does its part
Then one becomes two
And those two help a few
Who help more… and more… and more
We dream of a world where people are seen as people and not projects. We long for relationships in place of isolation. We can bring this new voice to the discussion of poverty and charity, and we can do it just as Saving Cinderella prescribes – together.
Saving Cinderella’s message of community and friendship in fighting poverty is too important not to share!
